Alejandro Caballero
My main research topic is the taxonomy of scale insects and the effects of plant host and geographic distribution on the morphology of this insect group. Among my previous research is the contribution to Neotropical diversity associated to crops, especially soil scale insects collected from coffee. Currently, my PhD project is focused on the update of the German diversity of Coccomorpha, building the molecular library and analyzing their morphological variations.
