Paula G. Pazinato
My main research interest is the evolution of arthropods, especially of malacostracan crustaceans, and the study of the fossil record to answer questions regarding the development of morphological
structures.
The focus of my PhD project is paleobiology and systematics of pygocephalomorphan crustaceans, a group of extinct Paleozoic peracaridans that were abundant and (apparently) diverse from the Early
Carboniferous of Laurasia to the Early Permian of Gondwana.
